Data Security & Backup

Data Security & Backup: What Is It?

Data loss and data leakage are among the most critical IT risks organizations face. We continuously protect your data with automated backup plans, cloud-based backup solutions, and end-to-end encryption. We provide a genuine business continuity guarantee with disaster recovery planning, RTO/RPO optimization, and regular recovery tests. We also prevent sensitive information from leaving the company with data classification, DLP policies, and access control.

How We Work

1

Data Inventory and Risk Analysis

We identify critical data assets in your organization; we assess gaps in existing backup infrastructure and your recovery time objectives.

2

Strategy Design

We design a customized data protection strategy and architecture in line with the 3-2-1 backup rule, RTO/RPO objectives, and compliance requirements.

3

Implementation and Testing

We deploy backup and encryption solutions; we verify they work in a real disaster scenario by conducting recovery tests.

4

Continuous Monitoring and Reporting

We monitor backup success rates and integrity; we conduct periodic recovery tests and share the data protection status with regular reports.

Frequently Asked Questions

A1

We recommend hourly or continuous (CDP) backup for critical data. Daily or weekly backup may be sufficient for less critical systems. We determine the most appropriate frequency based on your RPO objectives.

A2

We verify that backups actually work by conducting regular recovery tests. In many companies, it turns out that backups were assumed to be taken but were never tested. We share test results in a report.

A3

Using both is the safest approach. Local backup provides fast recovery; cloud backup is a lifesaver in case of a facility disaster (fire, flooding). The 3-2-1 rule balances these two.

A4

With the right backup strategy in place, critical systems can be recovered in hours. Additionally, we build ransomware-resistant (immutable) backup architectures to prevent attacks from affecting backups as well.

A5

KVKK requires that personal data be stored for a period proportionate to its purpose and then deleted. We configure your backup policies in compliance with these requirements and establish appropriate procedures for deletion requests to be reflected in backup media.
